The primary objective of the undergraduate accounting program is to prepare students for professional accounting positions at the entry level in public accounting, government, industry, and other organizations in the public and private sectors. Thus, the focus of the program is on high quality and thorough professional education in accounting, including preparation of students to take and successfully complete professional certification examinations, e.g., the CPA and CMA examinations.
