Area is the primary goal of this organizations.
Membership: Select group of committed,

Delta Sigma Pi (Co-ed Professional Business Fraternity)

Purpose: Delta Sigma Pi is a professional
fraternity organized to foster the study of business in
universities; to encourage scholarship, social activity
and the association of students for their mutual advancement
by research and practice; to promote closer affiliation
between the commercial world and students of commerce, and
to further a higher standard of commercial ethics and culture
and the civic and commercial welfare of the community.
Membership: Open to all dedicated business
and economic students with a 2.75 G.P.A. or higher.

achievement.
Membership: Membership is by invitation
only. Eligibility is restricted to the top 7% of the junior
class, the top 10% of the senior class, and the top 20%

Organization Management Student Association (HOMSA)

Purpose: To promote professional development
among students by providing opportunities for interaction
with health care executives, scholars of the profession,
and faculty of the HOM program, HOMSA encourages social
interaction among students, as well as with the faculty
and other MBA students. HOMSA also serves as an information
resource for students' utilization for fellowship and
job opportunities.
Membership: HOMSA is primarily designed for students
in the graduate program of HOM or Public Administration.
However, undergraduate students with an interest in health
care administration are encouraged to participate.

as a service organization in the College of Business.
Our primary goal is to participate in and promote projects

Monthly meeting provide an opportunity for business students

Purpose: To provide intellectual and
social interaction among members and faculty, to encourage
academic excellence, and to conduct activities beneficial
to the welfare of the graduate student.
Membership: Must be a graduate student
at Texas Tech University who has taken business courses
in the past or is currently taking business courses.
Real Estate Organization
Advisor:
Dr. Paul Goebel
Purpose:
A professional organization made up of highly motivated
students who wish to gain valuable knowledge in the many
facts of the real estate industry; including by not limited
to, brokerage, development, tenant representation, mortgage
and titles. The goal of the Real Estate Organization is
to inform students of possible job opportunities within
real estate by meeting with industry professionals while
at the same time giving back to Texas Tech and the Lubbock
Community.
Membership:
Open to all students at Texas Tech with an interst in real
estate.
Sigma Iota Epsilon
(SIE)

Purpose: To stimulate interest, achievement,
scholarship, and research in the field of management,
and to recognize the value of scholastic achievement in
business management and to facilitate contact between
students and the business community.
Membership: Undergraduate Management
majors with a minimum 3.2 GPA, and graduate students with
a minimum 3.2 GPA who have completed nine hours of graduate
study, of which three hours must be in Management. Sigma

Student Landmen
Association (SLA)

Purpose: To encourage interaction with
professionals in the oil and related industries. Junior
and senior members of the student chapter who are in good
standing receive scholarships from the American Association
of Petroleum Landmen.
Membership: Open to all Petroleum Land
Management (Energy Commerce) majors.
Tech
Marketing Association (TMA)

Purpose: To promote the professional
development of the members, primarily by providing its
members opportunities to interact with marketing professionals
who can provide insight to the profession. Other activities
include community service projects, sports marketing,
sports activities, and social events. TMA is a registered
student organization sponsored by the Marketing Department
of the Rawls College of Business Administration. Website:
